A tourniquet is an important tool for first aid in emergency situations. To ensure that you always have this important element of your equipment at hand, M-Tac is constantly updating its range of tourniquet accessories.
M-Tac has developed and launched a closed tourniquet pouch with a flap. The main difference between this model and the models previously launched is that it is closed. This design ensures reliable protection of the contents from dirt and dust.
There is a loop (made of webbing) on the front, and by pulling firmly you can easily and quickly open the pouch to gain access to the tourniquet.
A special lock allows you to adjust the opening of the bottom. In the closed position, this lock is attached to the Velcro plate, so the bottom cannot be opened completely and the tourniquet can only be accessed from above. However, when the lock is released from the Velcro panel and placed inside, the bottom opens completely, making it easy to remove the contents.
There is also a Velcro panel on the front of the kit with the distinctive "cross" symbol, which helps to easily identify it as a first aid kit. It also has enough space to accommodate a variety of similarly sized patches, for example for blood group IDs.
There are two tabs with Velcro fasteners on the back of the pouch. You can use them to attach the pouch to the bottom of a plate carrier or to its right or left side. To do this, remove the modular insert from the plate carrier, attach the pouch using the Velcro fasteners on the bottom and return the modular insert to its original position.
